The Department of Endodontics in the College of Dentistry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center invites applications for a clinical-track faculty appointment. The successful candidate will be a clinician-educator with a commitment towards academic excellence. Responsibilities for this position include didactic and clinical instruction in contemporary endodontics for predoctoral and post-graduate students, joining a team that includes two Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics and additional part-time board eligible faculty. Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee. They must also have completed a specialty education program in endodontics accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and be educationally qualified, board eligible or a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Preference will be given to candidates with an established record of previous teaching experience. The ability to engage in teaching across the spectrum of dental students and residents is essential, along with willingness to participate in scholarly activities central to the mission of the department.
