Assistant/Associate Professor of Endodontics
The University of Michigan School of Dentistry invites applications and nominations for a full-time clinical track faculty member at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Division of Endodontics.
The School of Dentistry and the Cariology, Restorative Sciences, and Endodontics Department are fully engaged in supporting our model for dental education that includes, evidence-based dentistry, and multi-disciplinary education. The candidate for this clinical track position should have clinical proficiency in endodontics. Prior experience with teaching and research are not required but are desirable. Duties will include: clinical and didactic teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level, patient care, scholarly activity and research.
CRSE has an active mentorship program and will provide ample opportunity for development of collaborative research projects. Opportunities are available for participation in the School of Dentistry faculty practice. Salary and level of academic appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Candidates should have a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent and the ability to be licensed in the State of Michigan. Board eligibility or certification by the American Board of Endodontics is desirable. Advanced credentials such as an MS, MEd, or PhD are preferred but not required.
