The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Department of Restorative Sciences is seeking to enrich the diversity of the University community and invites applications for a full-time clinical track faculty position to serve as the Graduate Program Director in the Division of Endodontics. The School of Dentistry promotes diversity, equity, and inclusivity among our students, faculty, staff, and public. Thus, we seek candidates whose research, teaching, and/or service have prepared them to fulfill our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Primary responsibilities of this role include Directing the Advanced Education Program in Endodontics. In addition, this role will provide clinical supervision for the Advanced Education Program in Endodontics, course directing and participation in pre-doctoral and resident didactic courses and participation on the School of Dentistry committees and governance. This person will work and partner with a diverse group of faculty, staff and students to provide a positive environment in which to maintain and grow the Division of Endodontics.
The successful candidate will be an experienced clinician with academic experience in teaching and scholarly work, who will have clinical and didactic responsibilities in Advanced Education Program in Endodontics as well as the pre-doctoral clinical education program. They must be committed to teaching and developing our residents as well as pre-doctoral students with dedication and commitment to providing full scope quality care and service to patients. Candidates must also be driven to teach and develop our students and to give the highest quality of care to our patients.
