The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Department of Restorative Sciences is seeking to enrich the diversity of the University community and invites applications for a full-time clinical track faculty position in the Division of Endodontics.
Major responsibilities include providing high quality teaching and education to pre-doctoral students and Endodontic residents in a clinical environment. The successful candidate is expected to be involved in the School of Dentistry meetings, committees, continuing education, and outreach along with other tasks assigned by the Division Director. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience and credentials.
This position will work with faculty, staff and students to provide a positive and productive experience for Endodontic patients. This person will be vital to the education and success of our graduate and pre-doctoral students. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, is a strong team player, is a partner to their peers and has a commitment to maintaining a strong collaborative and team approach in Endodontics. The candidate must also be driven to teach and develop our students and to give the highest quality of care to our patients.

DDS/DMD degree or recognized international equivalent
Current Minnesota Dental License or can obtain one prior to start date (a faculty license may be sponsored by the School of Dentistry if needed)
Completion of an Endodontics training program (program that is a minimum of 24 months in duration as a full time resident)
Experience successfully working with a diverse patient base
Certificate from an Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics from an ADA-Commissioned Dental Accreditation Program
American Board of Endodontics Certification, is in process of becoming certified, or is eligible for certification
Completion of graduate Endodontics program that is Master’s Degree based
Experience in mentoring students or residents
Two years of full time Endodontics teaching experience
